His buddy Yaniel joins the party, collaborating on two tracks. The guys go way back to 2003 with their boy band days as the A.M. Specialists trio (comprising Samuli Kemppi, Yaniel, & pothOles). Most renowned for "Polar Zoo”, Danny Tenaglia's power play at the Vinyl Club back in the day.

As you hear, their musical alchemy hasn’t dwindled one bit though. Much like the fading autumn light of a forest lake, this is tasteful deep-house at its most nostalgic and seductive. The water was calm and still. The fountain which sat perched amidst the middle of the pond was beautifully illuminated by the glow of flickering lights and beaming golden tapestry. Sat perched upon a bench she watched the people walk past, very few even glanced towards the the magnificent feature. They were absorbed in their own little worlds, busy distracted by ambitious prospects and bothersome thoughts. The bench was cold beneath her weight as she perched, this was the same spot that she had visited for many years. It always felt like home. 

Sevensol & Bender are the enigmatic duo behind KANN, a label which has been home to the likes of Traumprinz, Llewellyn, Sven Tasnadi and more. The pair have contributed a number of EP's themselves to the label, however their latest might be the most special to date. A truly beautiful EP set for release on the 16th of February next month.

Eric @Cloutier on the inspiration for this mix: "It's impossible to fully describe the importance of Theorem (@theorem-thx) in my life. Upon first hearing the “Nano” album I was immediately sold on his sound. Moving artfully between psychedelic, dub and chill varietals of techno, the picture he painted on this full length on Plus8 blew my mind…and honestly still does. Fast forward to the “Mantra One” EP, and I knew this wasn’t a fluke but a revolution of a genre. Almost like clockwork, singles on a sub label of M_nus started dropping; I was indoctrinated in to Theorem's sound 100% at this point. Beautiful, patient, delicate, unique, and timeless - Theorem’s records, both solo and with a handful of equally amazing friends, such as Stewart Walker, Sutekh, and Swayzak, are at once undefinable and unquestionably from one defining point in electronic music history. I’ve been fortunate enough to stay friends with Theorem for well over a decade, and he’s blessed me with a trove of unreleased transmissions I’ve never felt comfortable putting to a recording until now. Without this music  I honestly don’t know where my techno life would have taken me, but I am forever indebted to Theorem for what he unintentionally did to a random connoisseur back home in Detroit.
