Structures Two Chillout To

I've made mention that a download would be available soon. Well, "soon" came and went and I didn't offer a download. I'm apologize to those who might have been eager for a download. I will make a concentrated effort to get back on this and finalize my revisions and make this available for those that do want a copy.

This is a mash-up between 'Miles Away' (Madonna) and 'So Electric' (Lifelike). I can't take all of the credit on this one. My inspiration comes from a similar remix (<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVvZDejGS_Y" style="display: inline !important; ">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVvZDejGS_Y</a>). There are significant differences in the arrangement and I correctly transposed 'Miles Away' to match the key of 'So Electric'.

This piece has special meaning for me. I was at the beginning of a very difficult place in my life when I began work on this. Many of my emotions come through in the lyrics of 'Miles Away'.

I was inspired to create this remix while watching the four part mini-series titled "The Drug Years" on VH1 in 2008. This remix features vocal samples from the track "Loaded" by Primal Scream.

This is the very first remix I really attempted, in it's original form circa 2003. If I remember correctly, I first heard this used in the game "Midnight Club" for PlayStation 2. I enjoyed it so much I tracked down the version used in the game but left disappointed with it's arrangement.

A good friend asked me to work up a remix of the NFL on Fox Theme. His desire was to use it during the introduction of his wedding party. Whatever Brandon, I gave you what you wanted. It was a fun remix. :)

Here's a combination of two deep house classics. I started this in 2008 as I was first learning to work with Ableton Live. The production was initially not as precise as I would have liked at the time and was only sharing it with friends.

I have since gone back to my original project and cleaned things up a bit. I feel that I may revisit this soon and create a new version, so this is getting the title "Theoretically Deep In 2008 Version".

This is a bit of an experimental track. I consider this STRONGLY to be a work in progress.

The base track used is "Jacks Funk" from Thomas Penton & Hernan Serrao. Featured are vocal samples of "My House" from Chuck Roberts, "Funk Soul Brother" from Fatboy Slim and "We Are Your Friends" from Simian.

I created this to use in a live set during one of my shows, to lead into the track "We Are Your Friends" from Justice.
