Lovely people all around, a beautiful Void Soundsystem & not a worry in the world :) My first time being over and it will always be in my memories! It comes courtesy of a true New Jersey pioneer Richard Les Crees, a talent who came through on that phenomenal 80s wave as a DJ and translated that unique energy into productions under the name of Filthy Rich throughout the 90s on labels such as Distance. 
These productions had a direct influence on the Robsoul boss Phil Weeks himself so this release is a poignant moment as Richard completes the circle and makes his label debut. Digging deep into the most soulful and uplifting corners of his palette, it’s a resounding EP that belies the frosty winter temperatures. From the big vocal harmonies of the title track to the much heavier, jacking funk of the finale jam ‘What We ‘Bout To Do’, this covers the full range and reminds us that the best pioneers will always look to bring a different perspective and technique. From an early age, Theo was immersed in the world of music with two musician parents. 

In 2019 he start his career as a DJ, producer and musician under the alias THEOS and then moves to London at the end of 2019 to study in a school of sound engineering and devote himself fully to music. 

On the production side, he is inspired by a multitude of musical genres that have rocked him throughout his childhood, oscillating between HipHop, Jazz and Funk to arrive at House music. THEOS has more than 15 releases to his credit at the age of 21 on several European labels such as Happiness Therapy (Fr), Shall Not Fade (UK), Airtime (NL) or Pont Neuf Records (Fr). 

He has also been supported by different artists: Chris Stussy, Djoko or Richie Hawtin have played his productions in the best spots. His growing notoriety led him to play in 2022 all over the world with his Hybrid Set: perfect combination between his talents as a DJ and a pianist, his improvisation lines surprise and create the surprise during his sets.
