[ Gemmet stands before the court. They swing a glass bottle into the fog and watch it fly towards the source of the voice. It is heard shattering several feet above the ground, and falling as shards to the ground. ]

The Final Verdict

This is a theme for one of more unusual choice paths in The Otherer Puppet: Branch 2.

[ Honest words echo through Spammin's head. ]

[ Spammin pulls the IreBadge and TeethOpener from his pocket and stares at them. "The ends justifies the means", he justifies to some end. ]

[ He approaches a poster stapled to a hollow electricity pole. He's seen these before, maybe here, maybe there; a seasonal sponsorship opportunity. ]

// No reason to do what everyone else is doing.

Dies ist der „Vallée Des Couleurs“-Ersatz für meine AU, „Whosmelta?: Die anderere Marionette“. Isn't it wild to THINK that this is the first TOrP replacement for a song with a silly french name? Here at Poppets InTOrPorated, we're all about the french guys :imp:. I wonder why though, the french guys don't even contribute to the AU much, except for maybe like a helping Spammin out with his job or something, but that's only during off-months. 

[ Danside pipes up. ]

// Come on, violet! My bones are hollow and I'm keeping better pace! Ha!

// Right, yes -sic- old man...

[ A spry Azurey peeks his head out from behind a large mollusk shell, catching the vexed glance of Spammin, lifting his head from a horribly confusing map. ]

// It's a gut thing you guys didn't show up on a SATURDAY!
// Das ist ein of the days my No-Mercy mom would kick me against the wall and pummel me BLAU!

// Wait.
// Your mom beats you?

// Well ja! Only when she's upset at me, though.
// Ansonsten she only gives me slight cuts on the Gesicht.
// And I only have DREI nightmares SIEBEN of them!

// Huh...

// But she tells me that nightmares are TRAINING for DARK DAYS!!!
// And they'll make me TOUGHER and more HÄRTER to take on life's HERAUSFORDERUNGEN!!!

This is the "White Waters" replacement for. Think for a moment. There's a thought coming. It's on it's way. It's quickly approaching. It's almost here-! The thought is here! You're thinking it right now-aw rats. It's gone away. The fickle nature of ideas, eh?

[ The wind current is thinner here, as if this area is a place where the aggression of harsh reality mercifully eases up. Or, more negatively, has lost concern altogether. ]
[ Spammin accepts the former as true, shortly before noticing small shrubs rapidly growing, then detaching from the earth and rolling away, then being replaced by new ones, which then grow, then pop off, then evacuate. This cycle seems to repeat until each bushes produces a flower, at which point they seem to be satisfied and remain rooted. Guess they're perfectionists. ]

// Oh, haha!
// My boys! If I've followed my bill correctly...
// We're headed straight for my old flapping grounds!

// Uh. Shouldn't you just know you're near it by now?

// Yes, in theory. But in practice, well...
// My eyes and mind have been out of it for quite some time!

// Yes, but you can always trust the way a bird's beak points!

[ As Danside chuckles at his own quip, Spammin further takes in his surroundings. From stage right shuffles in a dark, horned mass. Spammin guesses Gemmet just couldn't help but approach the sound of reverie. ]

// By the way, them old bushes, uh... They're called Agen-Agen plants. Since they just grow again and again, ha!
// The big flowers they grow make some delicious snacks if ya' get lucky enough to see a perfect Agen-Agen sprout.
// Of course, once you pick it, the bush gets frustrated and rolls away, and it may be ages until another flower grows.. agen!

[ A steady stream of pollen and yellow petals begin to clash against the dark navy backdrop. ]

// As a frequent sailor and flyer, you'd think I wouldn't stop to appreciate all the land plants, but...
// Discovering new flora and fauna is one of the joys of such travels!
