Other Eye, StaarChyld, and Robo G on the Other Eye track.  The song discusses my acknowledgement that I'm a better beatmaker than MC, but at the time my more visionary MCs were not producing material at the rate I was producing beats, so I had to inspire them with a verse and a hook to get 'em hooked so they'd write some damn verses.  lol.

The Flow

Genre schmenre. RHCP has always been a genre-bending act, with their main genres being rock and hip hop, although they throw a little bit of punk in there sometimes. They've always been one of my favorite bands. I figured I can't do anything better than what they do, but I CAN take what they do and turn it a different direction and see what happens. Genre boundaries be damned.

The Altered State of I-D feat. StaarChyld

Always learnin', always burnin'.

Formerly known simply by his initials---ID---the Other Eye has been composing/producing since 2001 when his freshman roommate introduced him to his first drum machine. The Eye hails from Tree City, USA (aka Bloomington, IN) where he grew up with his partners in harmless deviance---StaarChyld and Robo-G.  The OtherEye drops science like Galileo dropped the orange. 

B.U.M.P. exists as a nationwide collective. The StaarChyld holds down Tree City, while Robo-G is currently tearin' up Austin, TX. The Eye watches over Denver from his home in the Highlands. 

However, the nation is nothin' compared to the widely positive reception received by the collective's musical catalog, which has pockets of followers worldwide, with a particularly large fan base in Germany for some reason.
