Formed in April 2016, THE OTHER SHAPES, have just begun and are already making an impact in the local and global music community. THE OTHER SHAPES launched with a bang, releasing their first single “Can't Wait” with the help of world-class Nashville producer Mark Petaccia (3 Doors Down, Taylor Swift, Yo La Tengo, Brad Paisley, Jack White, and many more).

 Fronted by Timothy Wolf, winner of the 2012 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, THE OTHER SHAPES have been described as “an endearing blend of The Decemberists with a mix of Ludo, Relient K, and Death Cab For Cutie, all topped off with a hint of Best Coast.”
 
 Performing at venues such as UW Madison's The Sett, Chicago's Lincoln Hall, and The Beat Kitchen, THE OTHER SHAPES brings an enormous amount of energy to every stage that they play.
 
 THE OTHER SHAPES' second single, “Sing For The Sun”, has been featured in the critically acclaimed documentary “A Billion Lives”. A Billion Lives has been premiered in the US, Canada, France, Poland, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, and is scheduled to appear on Netflix.
