Angel Mejia is The Outsider, a multifaceted MC from New York who raps in english (and spanish) of dominican and ecuadorian descent and has lived in Madrid, Spain for many years. He has been dedicating himself to music for 14 years and looks to adapt his rap to other styles of music to create a new subgenre (Fusion Rap or Rap Fusion).

An artist that with his work has proved his versatility and his capacity to improvise as an MC who fuses rap to other styles and formats of music from DJ sets (Drum N Bass, Dubstep, Hardcore, etc.) to jam sessions with styles such as Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Ska, etc. 

The Outsider has performed in New York in jams, open mics and concerts in brookyn(Starr bar and bushwick public house), east village (nublu classic and sidewalk cafe) and upper manhattan (The West End). And has also performed internationally in Madrid, Spain and Dubai, UAE (DIFC). In Madrid he has performed as an MC for DJ sets of Drum N Bass in Twist Club Madrid, Sala Republik, Sala Pirandello for Crossbeast and closed the set for Pendulum as the MC of Deathepticons in Sala Groove in 2014. As an individual MC he has performed in Plaza España opening up for Frank T and jam sessions like El Intruso and The Jungle Sessions. And in collaboration with electrolé that is a flamenco collective performed in the Rialto Theatre in Madrid
