In 2006 SPL & Limewax released a hugely influential mix that changed my perception of drum & bass forever. They combined teenage fury with unrivaled studio skills and a good deal of black humor into what was later labelled "Skullstep". To this day the SPL & Limewax Knowledge Mix is nothing but essential!

Mathis Mootz, the mastermind behind The Panacea, is a prolific electronic musician and DJ from Germany. Mootz has released 11 full-length LPs, 45 EPs and 12" Records on a variety of labels incl. PRSPCT Recordings, Sonic Groove, L/B Recordings, Intransigent Recordings, Freak Recordings, Kniteforce, Ant-Zen, Ambush, Yellow Stripe Recordings and most noticeably the legendary Position Chrome record label which he owns. Since 1996 Mootz has performed at countless events all over the world and continues to push the boundaries of his furious drum & bass into industrial techno and hardcore territory.
