The kick cuts through the trees like a scythe, calling out to her, drawing her closer. It comes from every direction, the purr of the bass slipping through the forest like low-hanging mist.

The primal, metronomic pressure of the beat enmeshes with his lycanthropic howl. The sound is everywhere, and impossible to get a fix on. It rains down from on high, sticking her cloak to her skin and slicking his fur. It rises from the earth, seeping between her toes.

Within this secret glade they meet, alone except for the rotting leaves and creeping moss. Here they become one, disparate egos dissolved in a cocktail of chemical impulses, dopamine responses and the instinctive urgency of the sound that surrounds and consumes them.

On the second single on his Disco Inferno label, I Hate Models exudes the mysterious, ancient power of the werewolf, and invites you to join him in one last dance.

Dear Degenerate — это агрессивная, низкочастотная классика без фальшивых дропов, без примесей транса и так называемого «визга». Это мрачная хроника деградации хард-техно, его превращения в тяжёлый EDM. Эхо утраченных подвалов и закрытых фабрик, когда танец был ритуалом, а не продуктом.

Каждый трек — это самостоятельный этап, отражающий историю конкретного музыкального времени. Здесь — разочарование, вызванное тем, как индустрия часто игнорирует подлинные эмоции, оригинальность и ценности ради алгоритмов и массового потребления.

Но Dear Degenerate — не только критика. Это и призыв. Призыв вспомнить, кто мы и зачем мы здесь. Присоединяйтесь к этому звуковому путешествию, чтобы заново осмыслить, что значит быть частью культуры в эпоху, когда подлинность становится дефицитом.


Dear Degenerate is aggressive, low-frequency classic techno without fake drops, trance additives, or so-called “screeches.” It’s a dark chronicle of the degradation of hard techno — its transformation into heavy EDM. An echo of abandoned basements and shuttered factories, back when dance was a ritual, not a product.

Each track is a standalone chapter, reflecting a specific musical era. It expresses the disillusionment with an industry that often sacrifices genuine emotion, originality, and values in favor of algorithms and mass appeal.

But Dear Degenerate is not just critique — it’s a call. A call to remember who we are and why we’re here. Join this sonic journey and reconsider what it means to be part of a culture in an era where authenticity is in short supply.

OMEN Recordings proudly announces the release of Ceremony, the second EP on the label from Japanese techno artist B.A.R.K. Known for his ritualistic, atmospheric, and percussive approach, B.A.R.K. delivers four original tracks that channel relentless momentum and immersive intensity—hallmarks of the OMEN sound and a continuation of his evolving vision within the label’s catalog. Each piece is carefully constructed, weaving hypnotic rhythms with layered textures that evoke both primal energy and cinematic tension.

To further expand the sonic landscape, the project is rounded out by three remixes from international artists, each offering a unique interpretation of B.A.R.K.’s work:

ZNTHIIA makes a striking OMEN debut with a dense, cinematic rework that heightens the release’s brooding aesthetic and pushes its dark energy into new territory.
