Kissing The Noose Pt 2

Welcome to The Peoples' Friend. We played around 60 gigs in the late 90s, almost all in London. Our regular venues were The Dublin Castle and The Barfly in Camden and The Borderline near Tottenham Court Road. We had a beautiful gang of fans, who we love to this day. The songs were written by Steffan Kay and the lyrics by Jamie Kelsey. The original line up had Jay 'manoray' Starkey on drums, Lewis 'dark lord' Perry on guitar and Kirsty 'dragon' Newton on bass and vocals. After Kirsty left, Jamie Carol joined us on bass and Cara Vella on violin and vocals. We had a beautiful time playing this music, some nights, the air would crack. Our magical sound engineer was the legendary Tim Smith of Cardiacs, who we highly recommend to you. Tim is our hero and the fact he was into us was humbling. Thanks so much to Tallulah for tracking us down to put the new Soundcloud together and being our first new fan in a few decades! Hope you enjoy!
