Anno 1980, when we all strained to avoid the "Strahlende Zukunft!... my band and I played some songs for the Schauspielhaus anno 1981, in Hamburg. We had our dreams and wanted to change a lot.  Today, more than 40 years later I don't know how to deal with it. Sorry.

Artificial (1980)

I've felt this way for several years. Burned out, somehow dead. The model of life has had its day. The system of humanity has failed.
Written in 1981, when the world still seemed hopeful, this song captures exactly what I feel today. I will probably never write new songs again, greetings to the AI. My brain is now resting.

Danse Macabre

My fav collaboration in 1982 with the talented duo Kreutzer from Munich and the currently hottest producer Chris Lunch, recorded in Delta Studios, with a view out of the window on the nuclear power plant in Brokdorf. An experiment to only function as a singer.
One of the strangest moments of my life so far. What is happening here right now? 
Because I was pregnant with my daughter Zoe and didn't know it until that...

There are only a very few songs that I have ever tried to cover, of course Bowie (only for private purposes) but still Nelly Furtado and Timbaland, WOW, this production is so innovative and timelessly beautiful, I love this track forever.
