The Perms are back!
The band's love of making music brought the trio back together to work on their newest single "Tell Me Something Good". Recorded at Vambo Studios in Winnipeg, Canada, the band decided to take a 
different approach to songwriting and producing. The track features the Perms signature sound partnered with samples and unique instrumentation. The result is a stick in your head pop song with an emphasis on "catchy". The Perms dug deep on this recording and the result is what makes this band special: alt-rock music 
to brighten your day.

Tell Me Something Good

With a blaring bass and modern pop reinvention The Perms really bring a fun and catchy feeling to modern alt-rock. Amy Lewis adds the larger-than-life energy of every chorus as the band pushes their frustration into a palpable feeling. Lewis also gives them a kind of back-and-forth in the story, even as her vocals are psun around the mix. "Give Me a Call" roars with a kind of global mix of riffs and a funky rhythm section, creating a track that feels relatable no matter where you are.

Writing "music that matters" is what drives The Perms.
 
After returning from a tour of France and Spain, the band headed back to Vambo Studios to finish up work on their new release “Miracle”. The tour was a source of motivation for the band. The love and support they received was integral in motivating The Perms to push on and give more during the recording.
 
This album features the band's creative alt-rock sound, mixing catchy hooks with stick-in-your head melodies. The band's chemistry stands out on these nine tracks. Their writing and musicianship is rooted in their ability to collaborate and work off each other to create music that showcases their shared love of music.
