Megalomaniac.  Identifying a need to stand up against the criminal elite, wealthy billionaires who would only commit their sordid atrocities with the notion that they can buy their way out of retribution.  The unambiguous lyrics narrate the monologue of our vigilante, one who advocates physical threat in order to even the imbalance of society.  The worst deeds, perpetrated only by those with a monetary advantage...but what if the boot was on the other foot?

The fourth and final instalment off our upcoming EP (edited version.)  In this track we wanted to demonstrate the true songwriting abilities and musicianship of the band.  This is a piece we have had in our repertoire for a long time.  We knew it would take considerable time to achieve exactly what we wanted on the record and are finally able to present it as it's meant to be.

The Perps are an Indie/Alternative Rock band from Manchester UK, comprised of: 

- Seb Smith – Lead Vocals
- Tom Burns – Lead Guitar, Vocals
- Arik Ross – Bass Guitar, Vocals
- Alex Visinoni – Drums.

Formed in 2018, we have spent the past 4 years writing, recording, and gigging our music throughout the UK.  Despite the chokehold of a global pandemic, we were determined to keep momentum ticking.  It was an industry wide struggle, but through zoom calls, masked video shoots and mobile recording sessions, we pushed on in any way restrictions would allow.  We now 7 releases on all major streaming platforms, 5 of which compose our debut EP W.A.L.K.  2022 was a huge year for the band as we have become Glastonbury Emerging Talent Finalists, and are thrilled to announce our new agreement with label; Golden Robot Records.  Recording for EP 2 is well underway, and with the backing from the label we’re confident this release later in 2023 will push us to the next level.  We have multiple live shows planned for the year and hope to begin plans for a tour in the summer.
