Welcome to the PFG Movements inaugural mix :-)We have been away but we are back , and back with this stunning mix of pure quality from the legend that is Steve Marx . 

Sydney’ born and bred, Steve Marx has mastered his craft as a DJ over the last 20 years, moving to London in the mid 90’S, he was influenced by the huge brands of the time such as Renaissance, Slinky and Ministry of Sound.
 
He quickly became a trusted name alongside the greats such as Nick Warren, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo, who till this day insist on him for support whenever they play down under!  
Now heading up the infamous onedotsixtwo label, with his cohorts Tripswitch and Gustin he is not just a DJ to be reconned with, but one of the taste makers of the progressive scene. 

Based back in his home town of Sydney and playing the biggest parties in Australia, Steve travels the world plying his craft at every opportunity, and is snapped up by promoters around the globe to play his amazing musical soundscapes. 
In recent years when returning to Europe, he has played alongside John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and B2B with Eelke Kleijn cementing his place as a global name at the top of his game. 
 
At home in Sydney, alongside running his dance music show on Bondi Beach radio, he has regular appearances for Return to Rio, Boots and Catz among many more amazing events, it’s safe to say that Steve is a force to be reconned with for any dance floor!

Since a young age I always felt most comfortable hanging around record shops, looking for the
latest music as with most DJ's starting out.
Growing my record collection, developing my own individual style
and technique, travelling to endless club nights and handing out countless mix tapes this was
pretty much the norm back then.
Eventually this paid off, playing at venues up and down the UK, being offered a residence at
'The Edge' in Sheffield and being given the opportunity to play along side DJ's such as Mickey
Finn, Grooverider, Swan E, Hype & SS.
However, there was something missing, I felt ready for a new challenge, a new direction. This
direction was influenced by DJ's and producers such as Brian Transeu, Blue Amazon and Paul
Oakenfold but most of all the highly acclaimed 7 ways album by Paul Van Dyke.
Then came the introduction to Sasha & John Digweed listening to their style and track selection
I was seriously hooked they just blew me away!
I then knew where I wanted to go musically.
Former resident for Upclose and personal MCR one of the UK’s leading club nights.
Showcasing the best DJ’s from around the world in a intimate environment. We had DJ’s such
as, Danny Howells, Nick Muir, Eelke Kleijn, Quivver, Dimitry Molosh, Guy Mantzur, Robert
Babciz and Jody Wisternoff gracing the decks.
Which brings us to the present day, now head honcho of Secluded Records & Secluded Events
Worldwide bringing secluded’s unique style across the globe.

From the bustling streets of Toronto, Amber Long makes waves with her signature sound. Supported by top-tier artists and blessed with a voice that soothes souls near and far, she has charmed audiences across countries such as Australia, the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Qatar, Mexico, Argentina, Jamaica, and her throughout her homeland, Canada. She's smashed through the glass ceiling with her music and collaborations, which have been signed to multiple prestigious labels. 

Amber's passion for spinning is not limited just there; not only does she travel everywhere but also runs an independent label Modern Agenda - an independent label home to producers who are being championed for their work in Progressive House and Melodic Techno, primarily.  

Amber launched the LIA Series in 2021, a series of guest mixes highlighting up-and-coming female and female-representing artists from around the globe. Amber has also been hosting Frisky Radio's Rogue Radio Show since 2017 and has been involved with The Canadian Juno Awards for many years now.  

With music coursing through every vein of hers; it's easy to see why Amber believes in its power to heal us all.

"Dillon's Delves" Episode 3 - PFG 6th Birthday

Hello and welcome to part 3 of our 6th birthday celebrations . This week we bring you the very talented Paul James Nolan .

From the shadows of the salt pyramid formations of the Salar de Arizaro in Argentina rises Renaissance man Paul James Nolan. A polymath with a formidable reputation as an audio engineer, artist mentor, and sound designer, Paul has navigated manifold paths through electronic music. He’s released on an engineered for some of the world’s most respected imprints from Bedrock to Kompakt. Concurrently, his artist development work has propelled numerous careers forward, notably on labels such as Circus and Afterlife. In 2019, he launched the subscription-based platform MYT which has grown exponentially, helping artists likeFourCandles, Gareth Cole  and Massanoto forge successful careers in an ever-competitive industry. Always in demand as a collaborator, Paul’s skills in engineering, production, mixing, and mastering have seen him work with acclaimed artists including Arthur Baker, The MartinezBrothers, JunkieXL,and film composer Jeff Rona. His innovative approach to sound design led him to work on Sasha’s critically and commercially acclaimed Late Night Tales album ‘Scene Delete’ in 2016 in LA. More recently, he has collaborated with melodic master Patrice Baumel, proving his finger is ever on the pulse of dance music’s unremitting beat. A bold audio alchemist, the DNA of Trentmoller, Jon Hopkins,and John Digweed can be traced through the lineage of his textured productions and the arc of his evocative DJ sets .

"Here you will find a selection of my favourite music that moved me lately. I am excited to be including two new original IDs of my own - for these tracks, their first time being played in a mix, so these haven't been heard publicly before and will hopefully be released later in 2025. I hope you will enjoy the ride."

Redfreya hailing from London UK , blends her rich musical heritage and classical training with modern electronic influences, crafting a unique style that resonates deeply with listeners around the globe.
As an artist, she steps into her own sound, seeking to walk her own path and avoid the conformity of being too easily 'defined'. Her sets cross genre boundaries, focusing instead on blending colourful sound-textures, polyrhythms and harmonies. Her artistry extends beyond the dance floor, as she draws inspiration from nature, human connection, and a desire to push creative boundaries.
In 2024, she celebrated her debut at ADE with 5x label showcase performances, as well as shows with Mayan Warrior, Selador and Anjunadeep and several European tour appearances across the year. She also learned to produce music, releasing her debut track 'Perception' in collaboration with REj on Reculture in the summer of 2024, and continues to play a lot of her original unreleased tracks in her sets (two of which can also be heard in this podcast).
She has built a strong reputation for her brooding musical sound on her long-standing weekly radio show at Bloop London, which is in it's 5th year, and has hosted guest appearances/interviews from top talent such as Murat Uncuoglu, Alican, Sascha Braemer, Anthony Pappa, James Harcourt and others. She has also shared the booth with many iconic artists who continue to inspire her, such as Mano Le Tough, Jonathan Kaspar, Damian Lazarus, Trikk, Frankey + Sandrino, John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, Steve Parry, Camelphat, Tinlicker, Nick Warren and many more.
2025 marks an exciting new chapter for Redfreya as she prepares to release her highly anticipated solo debut tracks, promising a deep, emotional sound that’s both timeless and forward-thinking. She is already scheduled to make appearances at festivals in Japan [Snow Machine], Croatia [Balance] and the US [Burning Man], as well as her own event brand 'Redfreya + Friends' which will bring a stellar lineup to London on Saturday 31st May, her largest-scale Day Party yet at an 800-capacity open-air venue for a fiesta of melodic and progressive music [tickets on sale in FEB].
