During 2020 & early 2021, the bands attention turned to completing a five track debut EP & 
further perfecting a live sound to be proud of. This coming September will see the band make 
their much anticipated debut in the Scottish music scene with the release of ‘Fallen Times’ on 
10th September 2021.
Fallen times is a bombastic entrance into the Scottish music scene for The Phantom Project. 
The song holds massive melodies, storming drums, chest clutching bass which is finished off 
with stadium worthy guitars. Lyricially Fallen Times has the prospect to connect with many

Ink on paper shows another more maturing side to the band, with strong melodies & lyrics that takes the song on a journey. The intro is a blend of dance, with a signature upbeat riff, groovy drums, and a familiar hard rock aesthetic, familiar to those who know The Phantom 
Project. 

Those who are new to the band will be instantly drawn in by the catchy riff and tight rhythm section along with a chorus that everyone can relate to. A crescendo adds depth and takes the song to a whole new level of excitement, the bands hard rock influences blends back in with the dance elements from earlier in the song.

Shadows

The Phantom Project is a group of young men who combine soaring leads backed by a lush soundscape, progressive bass, anthemic vocals and high energy drum grooves to form bigger than the sum of its parts.

The band has come together from the remains of a touring band that over the past years have performed and sold out venues throughout Scotland such as Sneaky Pete’s, Broadcast and have headlined King Tut’s as well as some festival appearances at Isle of Wight and TRNSMT.

Now having perfected their sound and ready to come back with plenty of hunger, the band’s latest incarnation consists of Singer and Guitarist Colin Simpson, Drummer Jamie Robertson, Lead Guitarist Alfonso Sanchez-Cruz and Bassist Lee Tallintire.

Throughout 2020 the boys will be releasing one new single in October with a string of gigs in between across Scotland & England starting off with The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh on 28th March. There will be a single released early March 2021, which will lead into the release of a summer EP in 2021.
