Hello, my name is Liz Townsend. I'm primarily a pianist but I also play the cello and flute. I decided to set up this soundcloud page with a double purpose in mind. One, as a way for people to hear my compositions.
Two, to illustrate the various types of session work I've done, both as a pianist and cellist, as well as a string arranger. I've worked with various artists for almost two decades now and have experience in a studio environment as well as performing live. With a Masters in composition, I also have an excellent grasp of music theory and can play from sheet music. 
I'm always excited to work with other musicians/artists and would be able to offer competitive rates for any studio/session work. I'm based in North Hertfordshire.
