Last weekend I played for the first time in Friedas Büxe in Zurich. Although the main act - Frida Darko - was absent due to illness, the club was packed. Many thanks to Aramiss and Planet Caravan who played with me. Special thanks to the many dancers and music lovers and the Büxe crew.  Looking forward to coming back at any time. It was a perfect and very emotional experience.

Years ago, already the first releases of Just Emma enchanted us and we are in love with their music ever since. Their organic sound that is still characterized by some very classic Deep House melodies goes directly into the heart. 💭 Jeder Mensch hat seine ganz eigene Schmerzgrenze. Diese ist meist variabel und auch ein Stück weit situationsabhängig. Körperliche Leiden können im Angesicht eines größeren Ganzen viel leichter zu tragen sein. Ein übergeordnetes Ziel kann bspw. ein schmerzendes Bein zu einer aushaltbaren Nebensache machen. Wer den Willen hat, kann selbst mit Handicap buchstäblich Berge versetzen. Die Kraft des menschlichen Geistes ist und bleibt ein faszinierendes Mysterium, welches wir für uns arbeiten lassen sollten … 

🎵 Der heutige KataHaifisch Podcast ist ein Live-Recording aus dem Luises Garten (Magdeburg). Der Künstler hinter diesem Werk ist der Urhildesheimer und Wahlmagdeburger HappyCityHippie. Bei ihm handelt es sich um einen Charakter wie aus einem Bilderbuch: kontaktfreudig, immer gut gelaunt und allzeit bereit eine Party zu rocken. Dabei sind BPM und Genre zweitrangig. Im Vordergrund steht der Spaß an der Musik, das gemeinsame zelebrieren, das tanzen und das feiern.

Wir freuen uns HappyCityHippie endlich einmal mit einem Set auf KataHaifisch begrüßen zu dürfen.

It's taken us a little while to fully process what happened on Sunday but now we've had the time to recover from the madness that is Fusion Festival (you too, we hope??) we're realising just how much this gig meant to us and how happy we are with how it all went. Thank you to everyone who was there, who waited the extra 40 minutes while we battled with some technical difficulties, who cheered, sang our lyrics (wait, what?!) and danced with us. You were so supportive and after the first couple of songs the nervousness was almost gone and we could just enjoy sharing what we love together with you all. THANK YOU! You peeps are just great. <3

So, without further ado, here's our live set on the Velvet Soup stage at Fusion on Sunday night. Unfortunately the quality of the recording isn't great (where's the bass?!?), and we actually had to re-record a couple of parts at home due to an issue with the accordion microphone picking up the sound coming from the speakers, but we tried our best to play it exactly like we did on the night and blend it in smoothly with the original recording.  We are proud and happy and we hope you like it!

I’m happy to share my extended set from Snjóblóm at Viking Village in Iceland, end of September 2024. It was definitely one of my favorite moments this year. It's a bit faster than I played in the past, but it just fitted the vibe and I really enjoyed it.

Much love to all the lovely people who danced the cold away with me in the old barn on that Friday night. And huge thank you to Tithorea and Immersion Community for inviting me and letting me be a part of this great adventure – it truly was one of a kind <3
