This is the 7th track from The Poetry Assassins new album Prosaic. Hope you enjoy!

The Poetry Assassins is a 5-piece all-original rock band based out of Dayton, WA (Where? We're just north of the awesome Walla Walla wine country in southeastern Washington). Best described as a cross between early Costello, Bowie, R.E.M., X, and the Foo Fighters, their music is completely original with multi-part harmonies and carefully crafted instrument interplay. Indie punk pop  would be the only way to pigeonhole a description and that falls somewhat short. It’s a wholly unique sound.

Toby Bailey, lead singer/songwriter who delivers like Jim Morrison on stage, has been the driving force behind Nature Boy Saints, Need For Blue, and The Verge - Seattle-based bands that were hugely popular back in the late 1990's to early 2000’s. Larry Davidson, lead guitar/songwriter, backing vocals & manager has played with the likes of Bill Frisell, Joe Strummer and Clarence Clemens as well as with countless bands throughout his life. Tammy Nelson, keyboards & backing vocals has been playing and singing in church all her life – we’re now corrupting her into a life of rock and roll and she’s having the time of her life. Thomas Thompson, our newest member, is a fantastic addition with numerous bands under his belt from his sordid history! An accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Thomas brings a unique energy to the band! Copper, drums/background vocals, is another multi-instrumentalist who brings a structure somewhere between rock, blues, metal and rockabilly to create a unique backdrop to the soundscape.
