Blue Serene is the first song i ever wrote, back in the 90s. I decided to bring it up to date with this new version.

A good ideal of the music i write has my Buddhist practice in mind. Nichiren Daishonin Buddhists chant (Nam Myoho Renge Kyo) to raise their lifestate, making their lifeforce stronger as a result. This song starts slow - depicitng a lower lifestate - and progresses into a more euphoric mood - depciting a higher lifestate.

I normally chant more quickly and much more vibrantly, but this is ideal for me when i need to relax. I also use this to drop off to sleep to. The full (nearly) 3.5hrs version video is on my Youtube channel - you'll find the link to it on my bio.
