This latest 'Running' EP, is a colourful and inspiring curation from the Sydney raised talent. The lead track came together as Chelsea jammed out on her guitar and discovered a catchy hook, which is now the main lead in the track 'Running'... After layering her original vocals and keys on top the rest came together naturally, leaving us with our very own summer anthem, complimented by a beefy bassline to please all listeners. 
‘Monsters’ is the second tune featured here and is a more upbeat house melody made purely for the dancers. The bass infused, high energy aspects heard are topped off with some uniquely Nyxen sounds making this melodic number a must.
Eagerly awaited after the huge success of her last EP 'You', the songs contained within are perky yet peaceful, deep yet upbeat, raw yet complex, but 100% pure Nyxen magic...

It Changes

Got the Moves is the first release from Melbourne’s TOOTH & TUSK forthcoming EP. It is an upbeat, hook filled journey of two lovers who found each other on the dance floor in the early hours of the morning on a typical weekend night out. Probably at Yah Yah’s or Cherry Bar which is a common occurrence for this type of situation. All set to a bongo driven, grooving swing rhythm that is hard to sit still to. 
Co-lead singer Courtney Constantinou says of the track, “It's a song about when you like someone's vibe and how they hold themselves. You dig what they're about and you just want to hang out all the time because they've 'got the moves!'’”

Recorded at Sound Park studios in Melbourne’s north and mixed and mastered at Los Bomberos Studios in Northcote, all with the help of Alex Markwell (aka Rudy from The Delta Riggs). It features performances by Brendan West and Courtney Constantinou on co-vocals, plus a full band of legends, Will Hewett, Alex McRae, Jared Brentnall and Tom McGrath.

We made it to the half-century mark, and our 50th mixtape of the series is super special, this time we're delighted to welcome Japanese artist Sugai Ken. Hot off the release of his LP release with RVNG. International, Ken has chosen to dedicate his mixtape to the Amsterdam based label who released his third full length, @Lullabiesforinsomniacs. All eight selections on 'Sound Gems from LFI' are taken from the labels wonderful back catalogue. Tuck into some beautiful experimental & ambient sounds!
