1. Tell us about what’s upcoming on Tustuf Records.

I’ve got a few plans in the works for TufStuf Records over 2024. Including another vinyl release, a number of digital releases and also some events. I’m very busy in the studio at the moment as well across the board. So 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year.

2. Tell us when we can check you out on Eruption Radio.

Every other Sunday from 4-6pm, GMT, I’m on Eruption Radio. Keep an eye out on my socials, as I normally give everyone a heads up when I’m next on the air.

3. What’s your best or funniest New Year’s Eve memory?

I normally spend New Years at home with my family these days, as I spend a great deal of my time during the year out in nightclubs, either DJing/networking and supporting friends. I have many fond memories of wild New Years squat raves in various places across London and Midlands.

Arkyn-Everyday Junglist Podcast-Episode 522

Excited to share the recording of a 3hr set live from Waking Life festival in Portugal from earlier this summer. This set is one of my favorites of the year, full of ‘Mister’ anthems for a fresh audience and 2024 favorites that have been working a treat on home soil at Nowadays

Truth be told I hadn’t heard too much about the festival before receiving the invite to come play and so travelled to Portugal with an open mind and a managed expectation. What I experienced was one of the most fulfilling festival experiences I’ve ever had as a DJ or punter. There was joy, freedom, mischief and a sense of acceptance in the air which I quickly felt and rode as best I could for the next 3 hours. 

Major props to the folks working hard to produce and preserve a truly special vibe in a truly magical location.

Seven and a half exhilarating hours from one of modern club's sharpest.

Tim Reaper's mammoth entry for RA.1000 is all about range. You thought the Future Retro London boss was just a jungle and hardcore head? Think again.

The mix's infinite-scroll tracklist (the longest we've ever published in full!) includes a who's who of top-rate producers, from A Guy Called Gerald and Cari Lekebusch to Batu, Mia Koden and the one and only Shackleton.

Opening with weighty grime and ending on head-spinning drum & bass, the mix journeys through US club, wobbly dubstep, classic techno and, of course, many shades of jungle. Rather than go the easy route, the Londoner approached the assignment with the curiosity, integrity and vulnerability of fellow shapeshifters like dBridge, Calibre and ASC.

"The idea was to represent other styles of electronic music that I've been a bit self-conscious about openly expressing my interest in," he told RA.

RA.1000 isn't just another side of Tim Reaper's artistry: thankfully for us, it feels like only the beginning.
