We live in strange times..where innocents die in the name of progress, and regressive measures govern our existence.We blame the system, blame the self proclaimed preachers..all the while preserving our tightly knit bubble and being oblivious to the fact that somewhere down we have consciously all gone a little blind...

We spend most of our lives dangling from strings, enacting our pre-assigned roles and yearning for our minuscule contributions to make a difference in an insane world. And once in a while arises the desire to break free and take a plunge into the seemingly unknown dark vacuum below us, which often leads to the brightest spaces..to follow the dream which always eluded you..

Puppet Dance

In an ancient land there once lived a king, a mighty emperor with myriad kingdoms at his feet. However he was a man bereft of companionship and  one day on a hunting trip he is mesmerized by a young woman he sees standing by a forlorn cottage. She has the most beautiful eyes and he is consumed by her beauty. Days pass and he sees her from a distance everyday, but she never looks back and he is torn from within.
On a winter evening, he finds her lifeless - a victim of harsh times and for the first time she looks back at him as she lays her in his arms. Heartbroken, he sends his messengers to find out who this woman was. They tell him she was a girl blind from birth, and some years ago her entire family had been slain by his own men, driving her into a tunnel of never ending despair.
Shattered, the mighty emperor prays for forgiveness to his silent gods and spends the rest of his days confined in the darkest spaces of his castle..
This is a journey.
This is a story about the king who cried..
