Circle of Life’s latest entry ‘Faya’ by Radical Fantasy is a blissful, uplifting organic house
journey into a deep dream state of lush soundscapes. Nostalgic vibes & fond memories hit
your system taking you back remembering. Radical Fantasy named the EP ‘Faya’ of his
grandmother. They had a very special connection, they spoke together every day. One day,
he recorded one of those phone calls and sampled it to the track. While she is not around in
body anymore her spirit will live on with the music.
The remixes by Mitch Oliver, and Stranger Tourist add a lot of additional color and breathe
new life into beautiful sonic marvels.
Mitch Oliver’s vision brings a dance floor energy and tones of mystery and passion. Leaning
on the leading chord tone, phrases longing to resolve to tonic, musically it sparks the right
vibes to push it forward all the way to the end.
Stranger Tourists take on Faya recreates the whole picture the original painted adding a
vibrant piano and melancholic vocals inspired by a classic. Turning it into a peak hour gem
with great ear candy

In July 2022, Juan Deminicis released another in a long list of sparkling EPs on Proton Music. Showcasing all his production talent on the twin-track "Cycles", we return to the EP with remixes from a pair of Argentinean stars.

From the O'Brien province of Buenos Aires, Paul Deep has carved out an impressive name for himself with his distinctive sounding ‘fusing nuances of deep, progressive and techno'. A renowned DJ across his homeland, the Argentinean's production credentials are no less impressive with music signed to the likes of Meanwhile, Tale & Tone and Sudbeat Music. A single EP in the shape of September's "Orchid" was a notable Proton Music highlight in 2022 as Paul Deep now returns with a scintillating interpretation of "Cycles". Built up on a powerful rhythmic framework, melodic fragments from the original filter into the track along with familiar pads. Before long, new components make their presence felt as a muted arpeggio paves the way for a sumptuous lead motif to reveal itself. The various melodies then shine at a beatless breakdown before dropping back into a sultry bassline groove in the latter stages, full of dancefloor sensibilities.

Another Buenos Aires based artist, Lisandro has been a powerful figure within the underground dance community since a 2018 debut on his own Flug Lab imprint. Going on to showcase over a half century of credits for his label, other work has featured on the likes of Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Perfecto and Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas. December 2022's "Traditions" EP revealed a wonderful aural diptych on Proton Music as Lisandro now returns with a typically impressive reworking of "Samhadi". Using Juan Deminicis' original parts to superb effect, familiar vocal cuts and piano motifs coruscate gently over the 6-minute timeframe. Adding a host of new production material, a new arpeggiated sequence cuts through the upper range with ease, sitting easily within existing musical structures. A strong beat and shaker fuelled percussive line add to the interpretation as Lisandro delivers another memorable remix to his production portfolio.

Remixes from Paul Deep and Lisandro have seen Juan Deminicis hit further "Cycles" of success.

Nature Rec opens the spring season by welcoming Ismaehl back to the label for a new single. The Mexican artist has made impressive strides since first emerging in 2020. Whether working in solo capacity or alongside frequent studio partner Replicanth, Ismaehl has taken his organic sound to Akbal Music, Clubsonica, Univack and more, while earning the praise of Hernan Cattaneo and Sebastien Leger. Having made two previous appearances on Nature Rec across 2021 and 2022, Ismaehl now makes a welcome return with a solo single entitled ‘Ojos Turquesa’.

Beloved for his exotic groove-centric sounds, Ismaehl continues to explore that narrative on ‘Ojos Turquesa’. Wrapped within a percussive rhythmic shell are punchy beats, pulsating basslines and a myriad of tantalizing effects. The Mexican artist’s storyboarding takes hold as fragmented vocals and cross-cultural instrumentation build an elusive narrative, one where prophetic sensibilities meet reflective emotions and captivate leading into the primary break. Bringing an even greater worldly presence across the interlude, Ismaehl reveals a strong lead theme which breaks pre-conception’s and made up minds for the ultimate finale that is sure to light up a broad range of dance floors.
