Collaborating musicians daniel aron and siblings Babapiros and HALOSARA are unveiling their first single together, ‘Heaven Sent’, on 28 June 2024 via Théque Records. The newly-formed trio are launching a new project, with more songs on the way and plans to gig on the horizon. They have been playing music together for years, but finally decided that they wanted to put out their own ‘pseudo-gospel’ music. daniel aron (Daniel Varga), is a multi-instrumentalist who has crafted a unique space in the music world with his collaborations in new wave jazz, hip hop, and beat-driven music. Babapiros, a.k.a. Geri Háló, is a drummer (but also a multi-instrumentalist) and touring musician whose former band Mongooz and the Magnet enjoyed global success and touring, with their song ‘Never Know’ notably appearing on the acclaimed US TV show Shameless. HALOSARA a.k.a. Sára Háló is the sister of Geri Háló. A singer and keyboard player, she appeared on the latest mïus album, which earned praise from the likes of CLASH Magazine, Rinse Fm, and When We Dip.

‘Heaven Sent’ opens with tender guitar licks and HALOSARA’s sweet vocals. The groove kicks in with a gooey, expansive bassline, sultry backbeat and passionate yet gentle gospel harmonies. daniel aron’s horns and brass warm the piece up. It is a gorgeously soulful track, featuring an intricate array of instruments brimming with musicality.

Creative modern classical composer vaghy is set to release a new single ‘When The Night Falls’ featuring interdisciplinary artist Ohnody, alongside a music video on 11 October 2024, via Théque Records. Based in Budapest, Hungary vaghy has had an illustrious career so far, with his music receiving plays on Worldwide FM, KEXP and Ibiza Sonica Radio. He’s also garnered the attention of Decoded Magazine, FAZE Mag, Son Of Marketing and Recorder.

‘When The Night Falls’ was produced by vaghy and Ohnody, mixed and mastered by Ferenc Stámusz (Stamusic.Studios Budapest), with songwriting credits going to Ohnody. It’s a masterfully composed offering, as vaghy showcases his deft piano skills. The track opens with a supple, yet poignant piano melody which sets the stage for Ohnody’s succulent vocals. It’s deeply moving, with an air of grief and renewal throughout, emphasised by subtle electronic music effects. The music video parallels this duality, featuring a breathtaking performance by a dancer in an empty home, while alternating between shots inside the home and outdoors, as the sun begins to fade during twilight.
