TheRa11n - Swing My Way

TheRa11n (formerly known as Kara Jade) is a Plains Cree Femcee who has been on the rise for a hot minute.  Coming from Winnipeg, MB, a member of Moosomin First Nation and currently residing in Toronto, ON this unapologetically Indigenous international artist is unorthodox, raw and real.  Since her debut EP "LEVEL$" in 2016 Ra11n has been busy rebranding and rebuilding herself towards the world music genre she fits into.  She started off as a model however always wanted to not only be seen but also heard she picked up the mic and works hard everyday on her passion, music & her people.  She is known for fusing together sounds from both the Indigenous, Jamaican and hip hop/dancehall/pow wow culture and is anything but boring or basic.  TheRa11n has done many shows and interviews, most recently she performed at Pride Festival Toronto 2019 alongside her DJ DOLO ROCK and her two dancers and was also featured in NOW Magazine's "15 Acts Not to Miss at Pride".  She is still steady working secretly on new projects and she can't wait to share what's in store next on her journey of goals.
