We’re all about the live show – don’t be surprised if you can see more band members in the pit than on the stage! Over the last year things have really started to pick up for us, with performances at the London 02 venue, indigo2, Newcastle’s 02 Academy and Journal Tyne Theatre, as well as great reviews from the judges in 2010’s Live And Unsigned competition. 

LIVE AND UNSIGNED  . . . Karen Thornton-Brown of connectvips was one of the judges at the regional finals of live and unsigned, held on 14th march, at the Journal Tyne theatre and said.. "The Raging Sickness -Tightest performance of the show, incredible band." Dan Black of Metro radio and Q Radio previously also Kerrang said "The Raging Sickness - What a gaga cover!… Gaga is defo the most popular artist to cover in the competition. " At the area finals on 25th April, we were the highest scoring band with the judges!  Local singer and vocal coach; Hannah Taylor said we were “ very together” Paul Clifford - Shields Gazette said “the raging sickness, best of the heavy bands to date” Peter Grant of BBC Newcastle said “love the energy” Asher Halle of Green Pepper Junction records said we were ‘great.’ We got through to the final at the london 02 arena and came 2nd in the rock catagory!



If you’re looking for bands to compare us with, look no further than the likes of Gallows, Metallica, Pantera, Machine Head, Motley Crue and Muse. We’re an old-school thrash band with a hint of simplicity and route-one heaviness from our punk rock origins, and we love chucking the odd crazy riff in for a good old bit of head-banging! All of the styles we take inspiration from, we twist into our own vision for a truly unique sound.
