Gerry & The Pacemakers is my favorite Liverpool Merseybeat scene band. I'd always loved the melodies that Gerry Marsden wrote, especially the ballad ones. This is one of my favorite ballads from the boys (and from this period). Another thing that made this song special to me through all those years is that now I'm a songwriter. I've been written quite a few tunes. But the very very first song that I wrote, when I was 16 years old, was inspired by this tune. I've changed the "sun" for the "moon". The song is called "Nunca Deixe A Lua Te Ver Chorar" (Never Let The Moon Catch You Crying).

This one hit harder than most.
