My first techno (or is that house?) track, played live using a Roland TR8-S, a Moog Sub37, a Korg Wavestate, a Korg Minilogue, a Moog Matriarch and Ableton Live.

It's far from perfect, way too long, but I've had a lot of fun :)

Debuting his lunar convoy alias in 2015, Souleiman has since carved his own path in the Brussels scene, with a very recent switch to his real first name.

The French artist is blazing an uncompromising trail, with a precise, infallible signature that's at once minimalist, mental and multi-genre, combining the qualities of a high-flying digger with a seasoned mastery of the turntables and a deep sense of narrative.

While co-running the deep techno imprint NORITE (with Foreign Material), he launched his own experimental label called efja, alongside a monthly residency at Kiosk Radio.

This mix was recorded at the Metropolis party back in October 2023, where Souleiman is also a resident DJ, playing the closing slot after Konduku and Sonhan.

The more we listen to Nosedrip’s last Room 01 adventure, the more we fall in love with it. Part of his all-nighter at Fuse and with a constant air of reflective and introspective touches, the Belgian leftfield treasure is doing justice to his reputation of never being predictable.

From vocals to etheric percussions, set-backed oddballs, or acid and Arabic sound textures, the Stroom.tv founder is drawing a resourceful example of his musical DNA. A spiritual ascension, guided by Ziggy Devriendt’s intuitions for two hours long.

The first release under his new moniker, @phara-6's new four-tracker 'In Glass' is moving at a softer and more harmonic cadence. 

B-side track 'Glow' is an impactful, incandescent journey through scuttling percussion, deep synths and slow-building, textured rhythm.

Let's head back to Fuse on January 4th for two hours of technical, percussive and ambient soul. Intertwining minimalist techno, UK-influenced bass, and polyrhythmic grooves, he kept the listener focused in dreamscapes as he reflected his influences from labels like Nous’klaer, Spazio Disponibile, and his distinct attention to unconventional time signatures or drum work. This said, Konduku at Fuse offers an accurate snapshot of the universe defining him. Have a listen right here.
