Asa Crawford aka "Asap" is a southern rap artists with a one of a kind swagger and a lyrical presence like no other. At twenty five years of age Asap says he has really found himself as an artists in the last year. He is a native of Meridian, Mississippi and was born at Jeff Andersons Regional Medical Center October 17, 1987. As a child Asa Crawford aka Asap was always inspired by music and had a passion especially for rap. He often listened to 2 pac, Master P, Juvenile, Ugk, Trae, BG, and other mainstream artists who inspired him. Asap didn't discover his talent until highschool where he would freestyle rap with friends between classes and on the school bus. Asap says he really didn't start taking his music seriously until 2012. Since then he has been on his grind and has truly become self motivated working towards his goals. Asap's first album is planned to debut in mid December 2013. "Devoted 2 The Game" is the name of this mixtape collaboration with artists Ahmad aka Abeezy. Ahmad is another versatile rapper from the Queencity known for his hot albums; "Super Throwed", "Jus Cus I Can", and "The Last Laugh". This joint is expected to be a versatile mixtape with potential for reaching listeners of all styles of music. Asap says the album is complete but is just being polished up and perfected at this time. Asap says the "601" has a voice to be heard and is definitely playing a huge role in the industry right now being hometown of artists "Big Krit" and "Lo Starr".
