If you’d like to enjoy the view from the top of the mountain, you’ll first have to get through the struggle of climbing it.

At first, the task might seem challenging or maybe even impossible. But if you allow yourself to imagine the view and accept the pain, you’ll go through in order to see it, you might come to realize that it’s really not that bad. You might feel the first rush of adrenaline at the foot of the mountain. The heavy breathing. The second rush of adrenaline, when you’re faced with the rock wall that you have to conquer, but for which you didn’t prepare. Breathe. You get a glimpse of the top. You’re no longer just imagining the view, but you’re actually starting to see it as well, and you realize how your climb has already made you faster and more agile. You’ve learned from all the setbacks. Then finally, you find the path. Everything is perfect. You’re on the highway to the top. The path ends. And that’s when you realize; this is not the highest peak. You just couldn’t see it until now. Breathe.
