Diamond in the Rough is here and I am amazed at how well everything came together. I wanted my first project to be something that anybody can listen to. Men, women, kids, anybody can listen and no matter where you are from its still relatable. I was able to showcase my own life experiences in a way that anyone can tune in and feel for themselves now. Everyone drives in the fast lane, everyone is blessed, everyone experiences changes, and most importantly everyone has felt love. Whether you are in love or were just burned, there is a song for you on this album. I tried to stay away from negative vibes and vulgar language. I kept it classy in an edgy way. The beats I chose all have this crazy type of colorful, positive, uplifting vibe to them. I can’t even put it into words, you guys have to go check it out for yourself to see what I’m talking about. All I can say is I’m finally finding myself as an artist and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with everyone. P.S. Every word came straight from the heart.

Lilly is a Southern hip-hop and R&B artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Loris, South Carolina, the artist struggled with health and addiction issues, along with becoming a mother at a young age and having to raise her daughter on her own. With a determination and drive inherent only to single mothers, Lily overcame her hardships, using music as an outlet for healing and growth.

She began composing and songwriting in 2017 in a small studio in Conway, South Carolina. Currently creating out of Patchwerk Recording Studios in Atlanta, she’s worked with well known producers such as CrittyOnDaTrak and DrellOnTheTrack, among others. The rapper is also an accomplished dancer, while her love for Lil Wayne’s music has garnered her the nickname Lil Weez.

Lilly represents love, peace and diversity, writing lyrics that are rich, fiery and full of meaning. She tells stories through witty metaphors and covers themes such as empowerment, positivity and self-acceptance.
