At 27 years old, and still relatively fresh to the dj/producing scene, Zach Holmes aka Homeslice (also as Zach Morris); continues to pick up steam as someone to watch for.  For someone that has only been producing and playing live for under a year, we have already seen big things out of this guy.

  His roots in edm mainly lie in electro-house, dubstep, and nu disco; but his music is rarely limited to one type of genre.  Influences like soul, gospel, blues, rock, even folk music  and reggae can be seen from his remixes of Florence and the Machine, to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and even Nancy Sinatra.

  "Music, for me, continues to be a classroom; there is always something new evolving in music so its motivating just to try and keep up paces with what the whole industry is doing... and then stay a step or two in front of that."  It's this attitude that has led to an exponential growth and progression in his songs and live performances that is only getting better with time.  If the music we have seen from him so far is only the tip of the iceberg, I have a feeling that we will be hearing more about him in the not too distant future.
