Smoke Signals sees the band explore more serious subject matter while still maintaining the upbeat party vibes they bring to their explosive live set. Recorded in early 2018 while the band was reinventing its line up this release is a much more personal exploration of songwriters Just Mac and Benny Level’s psyche.

Over the past couple of years playing shows around Adelaide, we have been lucky enough to share the stage with some dope MC’s. So we decided what better way to say thank you than getting everyone on the same track to spread a positive message of peace love and unity. ‘Release The Doves’ has been kicking around our set list for quite a while now and some of our favourite local rappers have jumped up on stage and helped us make some great memories playing this tune. We finally decided to put it down in the studio and with a little help from Tim Whitt Sound on the mix & Callum on the sax. With JPEG the Jenius, Ronny Mac, Eskatology, Emsee Entirety and our own JustMac & Bennylevels dropping verses to make up this 7min track!

'Back To Work' came to fruition in the summer of 2017 after the unfortunate departure of Adrian from the band. Left drummer less and with big things on the horizon what did The Real Mac do? They got back to work and wrote a new EP plus more tracks to fill the void. Now with Benny Beatz on board bringing the funk 'Back To Work' see's the band lean into the fun filled party vibe that they bring to their live show, and with the vocal debut of MC Boo on the track everyone is in on the action.
