MP’s mother worked at local concert venues, introducing him to a wide array of live music genres, aiming to provide a positive outlet and steer him clear of the streets. Music soon evolved into an obsession, a refuge from the surrounding crime and addiction. A captivating wordsmith, MP delivers smooth, buttery vocals, encapsulating equal parts pain and inspiration. MP’s discography will take you through life’s highs and lows. He’s an urban poet with a niche for resilience. Each track breathes authenticity and is a reminder to all that anyone can prevail in the face of adversity. After serving nearly a decade in federal prison for conspiracy drug charges, MP was determined to deliver a dream deferred. He learned to transform his hustle and avoid the pitfalls of the streets. In 2020, he launched Live Struggle Legacy - a tribute to Timothy “Big Baby” Lewis who lost his life behind bars, as a result of a negligent prison healthcare system. Live Struggle Legacy is a platform for artists with the mission of shedding light on injustice while inspiring positive change. MP creates movement driven music with the mind-set of unity and collaboration.
