Set from my friend Lance's first Pool Party of the Spring of 2021.  This was an epic raging pool party.  Everyone really cut loose after finally feeling comfortable throwing down and dancing under the sun at the pool and in the water after all the lockdowns!  First time I've played a full on four on the floor set in al long time.  Lot's of Old School Classic Bangers in there!  Super Epic fun! My Set from Ecstatic Dance Sebastopol in November of 2021.  It was the first dance that they held since the pandemic, so it's the first time they gathered to dance this way for almost 2 years!  The energy was on FIRE!  The dancers were really feeling it and I was really feeling the they were feeding me with the best energy and it WENT OFF BIG TIME!  You can feel it in the music and I think the energy was embedded in the mix.  Hope you can feel it too!

Here is my set from the Epic Fungineers show we hosted at Elixart in Nevada City.  It's full on booty shakin' bass music set flavored with Dancehall, trap and some x-rated bootylicious twerking hip hop mixed in.  It's more raw and nasty from those used to my ecstatic dance sets.  All in good fun and the spirit of the fungineers for a great night of full on get down sexy bootyshakin' twerking mad vibes!  Hope your booty feels the vibes!  In-JOY!

This is the live Ecstatic Dance set I did to call in the rain in conjunction with all the dancers and people from all over praying and setting the intention to bring in the rain in a time of drought….it worked a few day later it RAINED.  This is musical journey and startes off with with a really long ambient intro, skip around if you want to get the tempo up otherwise listen all the way from beginning to end for the full journey. Sunday Dance San Rafael 8-13-23

This is my set from Ecstatic Dance on it's return to the legendary Sweets Ballroom where it all began!   This was one the best feeling sets I have played in a long time!  The energy in the room was incredible and filled the space from wall to wall, the dance floor was so activated and I felt so connected to everyone in the room.  A true ecstatic dance family reunion and homecoming!  I played a lot of my 'hits' for this special dance reunion!  It's hard to capture the incredible energy that was in the room that day, but here is the recording from that epic morning for your listening pleasure.  In-JOY!

Ecstatic Dance SWEETS! Sunday 10-8-23

Here is my set from Ecstatic Dance Nevada City in November of 2023.  Although it's winter I'm still playing off some of the fall vibes with the "Autumn Leafs" intro outro. (one of my all time favs).  This set goes on quite a journey through styles and tempos and the crowd was on fire when I played it.  I have been on a slightly ratchet tip lately so it does show up in the set here and there, but I feel there is a good balance of dancehall, world, bass, medicine house and afro, amapiano influences sprinkled about.  Hopefully can pick up on some of the vibe that was going on during the dance.

Ecstatic Dance 5 - 3-15

My Ecstatic Dance set 2 weeks before my mothers passing.  It was a dedication and prayer to my mother.  It is charged with the emotions and passions surrounding this time.  There are  some very special moments and songs that are very close to our relationship as well as just some magical moments that were just created in the moment.  It was a very powerful set I hope you can feel it listening to it.  Long live my dear blessed mother Holland Louise Huss Merrick.  Peace and love on her journey onward.  May a part of her continue to live on in this mix....I love you Mom....IN JOY!!!

Ecstatic Dance LA 3-17-19

Here is my set for priceless 2019 on the forest stage.  It was only supposed to be an hour, but the crowd begged for more so it got extended another hour or so and takes a turn as the sun rises and get's brighter.  Great summer listening, but good anytime of the year of course.  Starts off with a four four and then transmutes at the end.
