The Twangmonkeys
Stichworte wie  originell, einzigartig, wow oder cool sind es , die in Erinnerung bleiben, hat man The Twangmonkeys zum ersten Mal erlebt .
Das Duo, bestehend aus Buddy Olli (Vocals/Gitarre) alias Oliver Blees  und Maros Los Trappos (Drums) alias Marcus Trappe aus Kevelaer, entstand im Jahr 2015 aus der vierköpfigen Band  `King Garage` .
Doch Duo ist eigentlich nicht die richtige Bezeichnung für The Twangmonkeys, da es noch ein drittes, ganz wichtiges Mitglied in der Band gibt.
Immer mit dabei ist, die 1965 kurz vor Hawaii bei einem Surfunfall verschiedene Bassistin der Band, Lady Death, die sogar eine eigene Facebook Fanpage hat. 
The Twangmonkeys stehen für eine  Mischung aus punkigem Surfrock ,  Garagen Rock, wie Marcos Los Trappos, den ganz eigenen Stil der Band beschreibt .
Was sofort ins Ohr geht, sie spielen nicht nur irgendwelche belanglose Musik , sie leben den Twang, der ihre Musik zu etwas ganz besonderem macht. 
Wer die Band gerne in gepresster Form für zuhause mitnehmen möchte, wird leider leer ausgehen, kann sich jedoch mit streamen über Wasser halten und das wird man brauchen, denn der Sound macht nicht nur Spaß, er macht süchtig.
Den Richtigen Spirit / Twang gibt es dann beim nächsten  Liveauftritt, der in der Kulturrampe am Krefelder Großmarkt am 04.02. 2018 stattfinden wird, wo sie gemeinsam mit The Movements (DK) spielen werden .

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. It is a gas giant with an average radius about nine times that of Earth. It has only one-eighth the average density of Earth, but with its larger volume Saturn is over 95 times more massive.

Bassguitarplayer of DEAR WOLF from march 2022 to december 2024

....since I entered the basement of a doctor's office in Kempen in spring 1991 with my freshly purchased red semi-acoustic electric guitar (Aria Pro II), I couldn't stop making my own noise in musical form.
A mixture of 60's garage punk, noise pop, alternative noise and indie guitar stuff and ska influence my songwriting to this day.

Seitdem ich im Frühjahr 1991 mit meiner frisch-gekauften roten Halbakustik-E-Gitarre (Aria Pro II) den Kellerraum einer kempener Arztpraxis betrat konnte ich nicht mehr aufhören eigenen Krach in musikalischer Form herzustellen. 
Eine Mixtur aus 60´s-Garagepunk, Noisepop, Alternativkrach und Indiegitarrengegniedel und Ska beeinflussen mein Songwriting bis heute.
