Dormi dans des hôtels bien trop vastes pour mes rêves,
Les grandes villes me vendaient leurs promesses en carton,
Que je photographiais avec une sorte de fièvre .
On croit que le bonheur se cache dans ce qui brille,
Dans l’éclat du décor, dans le doux corps des filles.
On achète, on possède mais on devient aigri.
À force de chercher, le désir s’est enfui.
J’ai brûlé des amours à durée limitée,
Des promesses d’un jour destinées à sombrer,
Rêvant de pas errants qui deviendraient chemin
Mais on repartait vite, chacun son lendemain.
Dans une maison blanche ouverte sur la mer,
