The English Civil War, the largest and bloodiest battle fought just a few miles west of York. Thousands of men perished on both sides in the name of the monarchy and religion. My song is not the usual EDM stomper but a tribute to the lives of the men whom fought this war. I live next to the battlefield and wrote this piece whilst looking across to where Oliver Cromwell positioned his army on Cromwell's Clump before decimating the Royalists. The Quantum Mechanic
