Everyone remembers seeing that plane flying over Dominator 2016 with the message “25 Years of Thunderdome - See You in 2017” Everyone felt something special at that moment. Well, so did The Sickest Squad & Rob GEE. Thunderdome is a huge part of our lives, and we knew then we wanted to make our tribute to The Wizard. That summer and fall we were already in the studio working on some other music in Italy. Everyday we took the train and kept hearing AC/DC ‘s “Thunderstruck”, literally everyday. We took it as a sign that this should be our inspiration for our Thunderdome Tribute. I flew back to The USA and immediately contacted my brother Sudeip so him and I could start laying down the guitars. Once we had the guitars, I made several special trips to Italy to record the vocals, and start producing with The Sickest Squad our tribute. This took about a year because we all wanted to be together during the creation from the beginning to the end. This was important because Thunderdome is in our hearts and this was not just another “track” for us. This was special, and we wanted to do something special with it. We want to give our “Thunderdome Tribute” to YOU.
