Between January 7 and January 31, 2025, seven devastating wildfires swept through the Los Angeles metropolitan area and San Diego County in California. These fires were intensified by ongoing drought conditions, low humidity, an accumulation of vegetation from the previous winter, and powerful Santa Ana winds that reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour (160 km/h; 45 m/s) in certain areas. By January 31, 2025, the wildfires had claimed at least 29 lives, forced the evacuation of over 200,000 people, and destroyed more than 18,000 homes and structures.

This song is a heartfelt dedication to all those affected. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by this tragedy.

Last month, September 30, 2018, after our monthly conference, he told me that he really liked this song. He asked me If I could cover the song. Without hesitation, I said, “Yes!” On October 10, 2018, I began recording this version and now, I present to you my cover of “The Girls Alright With Me” (In the Style of The Temptations)

"The Girl's Alright with Me" is a 1964 song recorded by The Temptations for the Gordy (Motown) label. The B-side to their Top 40 hit "I'll Be in Trouble", the song was also able to chart on its own, peaking at number 102 on Billboard Pop Charts.[1] It was written by Eddie Kendricks, Norman Whitfield, and Eddie Holland, and produced by Whitfield. Whitfield would rerecord the song with his act The Undisputed Truth some ten years later for their album Down To Earth.

I Put A Spell On You

So, 2 nights ago I was on YouTube watching a short documentary on Sam Watson who works for the high-powered boxing adviser Al Haymon. I was doing some research on Al Hamon because he has had boxing sowed up for a long while now and no one knows much about him or his whereabouts. Some minutes into the documentary this Motown classic comes on in the background and I immediately get the desire to sing it. So, you already know what I did right? I immediately started an internet search for an instrumental track that sounded great and would evoke the kind of emotion I would need to pull this one off. And, the first track I find is by a producer named Khan Flo Mah. I looked him up and got in contact with him and we have been FB friends for the past 2 days communicating through FB posts and comments. Since, I’d love to collaborate with him going forward, I am dedicating this song to my very new FB friend Khan Flo Mah.

I do this for the love because I have done many other things, for many other reasons, and they were not as rewarding as living what everyone else would call a dream. I present to you my cover of “Ebony Eyes” (In the Style of Rick James + Friend)

The Apollo Theater, in partnership with the Coca-Cola Company, presented Amateur Night at the Apollo: Making a Star, a special showcase performance. The Amateur Night at the Apollo: Making a Star showcase was the culmination of the Theater’s nationwide search for the next Apollo legend.

Hundreds of up-and-coming vocalists competed in a special New Orleans audition followed by an online audition component for the opportunity to perform on the legendary Apollo stage, where musical icons such as Michael Jackson, James Brown and Ella Fitzgerald and Stevie Wonder honed their craft.

Five winners were chosen from the crop of hopefuls - Shakar Brumfield (New York, NY), Markus Chatman (Atlanta, GA), Anastia Johnson (Miami, FL), Arrianne Keelen (New Orleans, LA) and Belle Lundon (Houston, TX).

The Cast ( Shakar Brumfield (New York, NY), Anastia Johnson (Miami, FL), Arrianne Keelen (New Orleans, LA) and Belle Lundon (Houston, TX) not only participated in the filming of a web mini-series of the same title but, They also got in the studio with legendary producer Barry Eastmond to record the latest version of "Welcome to Apollo," Amateur Nights "Theme Song."  "Turn Your Love Around" is a pop/R&B single by George Benson. The song was written by Grammy winners Bill Champlin of Chicago, Steve Lukather of Toto and producer and guitarist Jay Graydon to help fill out Benson's 1981 greatest hits album, The George Benson Collection.
