I started this tune two years ago during one of the lonelier moments of my life as a sort of a deep depression decompression. Between then and now, this tune has freed slaves, caused earthquakes, and raised roofs both indoors and out.

In light of the fact that the album this track will be featured on is coming out in the next few days, posting this tune publicly right now is a potentially questionable marketing decision, but nevertheless it is arguably an obligatory spiritual decision.

After all, I, like you, could be gone before you know it, and this one is a long time coming, let me tell you what.

Sorry for the delay folks.  The wait is almost over.  The EP will be available on an advanced release through Beatport and Bandcamp on 22nd October and a couple of weeks after that, all over. Release dates to be confirmed in a day or 2....in the mean time here is a sampler!  The full mix is a suitably epic 11 minutes!  The EP features also the original and Astrals High Freakage Cut....

I presume you all know that The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) was Tip´s own band and featured Graham Wood and Raja Ram.  They gave us some of the most defining moments of Goa Trance and this track is one of the most loved classics of the genre.  Engineered by Martin Freeland/ Man With No Name and now remixed by those other illustrious pioeneers of the genre, Astral Projection.  A winning combo for sure!

He's always done it his way. On his own terms. Whether it was playing in heavy metal acts or brass bands, it didn't matter. Random Rab has always held his banner high. Today, we're thrilled to bring you the title track from the new album. The term "downtempo" belies the majesty, the utter mystical energy of a Rab tune. There's power and poise, subtlety and grace. The sheer intensity of a hypnotizing groove and his cool, crisp vocals carry more force than a thousand blaring subs rattling out the hardest bass grooves. The charts and charts of electronic dance singles can't measure up to the unfathomably deep intention this type of tune evokes. There's just nothing like a new Rab tune. This one is going to be on repeat.

Random Rab - Release [EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE]

The shift is underway. We've seen the writing on the wall, and the transformational paradigm realignment in the electronic music industry is afoot. No longer are fans content to bang their heads in hedonistic ecstasy before passing out under a car in the parking lot. Supporters of the scene want more--and they're getting it. The sacred bass and downtemple scenes are emerging from their west coast haven to spread the word from coast to coast.

And it's a European producer who has gotten the ball rolling. Since the 80's, Toby Marks has been an influential producer and label head, amassing a huge catalog of tunes and treasures. His most recent album, Apollo, breathes new life into the industry, and as such, the remixes are equally potent. Artists like GAUDI, Kaya Project, and Eat Static take their turns on Ollopa: Apollo Remixed, and the results are extraordinary.

Today, we premiere the Desert Dwellers remix of "All Sleeping." This reset button for the body and soul is a liquid trip down healing waters into a soothing pool of transfixing percussion and light, glitchy melodies. Slip away on a whisper with this translucent delight that captures the mind. It's out there. And there's no doubt the boys are going to break it out when they play Sonic Blossom in Denver, CO next week. It's too good to keep locked up.

Queen of Pentacles (extended version)

TELESMA's 4th release (after the studio album "O(h)M, the live CD "Hearing Visions: LIVE", and the live DVD "Hearing Visions: LIVE") is their 2nd studio album. 

Action In Inaction represents mankind's journey through life and rebirth. The music is a mix of body moving grooves and cerebral compositions. Blending ancient and modern instruments to create a unique sound that reaches into our primal self.

The concept of Action In Inaction is taken from the Bhagavad-gita which translates as "One Who Sees inaction in action, and action in inaction, is intelligent among society, and is in the transcendental position, although engaged in all sort of activities". This concept is the basis for how Telesma approaches music, sometimes we create the music, sometimes we sit back and the music comes to us. 

The music on this album ranges from danceable grooves and psychedelic sounds, to heavier rock riffs, to mantra chants and throat singing. Using ancient instruments like the didgeridoo and kubing (bamboo mouth harp) to give a trance like pulse and combining it with modern rock and electronica instruments. Some of the lyrics are Sanskrit mantra chants, which are translated in the physical album's liner notes. 

The layout of the songs outline mankind's journey through life, from creation, to becoming aware of the self, being caught up in the self before breaking free and seeking enlightenment, then finally reaching the end of this lifetime and beginning the cycle again.
