I made this track after a lesson with OkayJake. A few years ago, I had the chance to open for him and Tape B in Memphis, which was a really dope experience. I've been a fan of his ever since.
During our lesson, he really emphasized the importance of letting go and not overthinking everything. He stressed not getting too attached to songs, and that really resonated with me-just letting the music flow instead of forcing it.
With this track, I focused less on music theory and more on feeling it out. I hope that comes through for the listener.

"Lifeforms" is my new single following the release of my debut EP. I continue to blend my favorite elements in electronic music in a raw experimental style. The synthesizer I used following the electro bass sounds brings me a nostalgic feeling when I was a kid listening to trance and I wanted to create a song that expresses beauty and drama together. I feel like I accomplished those goals with this song.
