On this long road, without any other influence to guide me, I walk alone.

'Independence is amazing when you know how to do it correctly, and it's something that shouldn't ever be taking for granted as long as you believe in what you're capable of and have a desire to see it manifest into reality one day.' This was one of the statements that kept reoccurring within my head every day and every step I took on this road to get back into music as well as finding out where it will take me once I did return

Every time I pondered this question, it always has a different answer, 'Why doesn't it come out how I wanted to? Music or lyrics, nobody perceives it anyways, why are there so many problems?' It was a constant voice echo that wouldn't let me be no matter I tried. The only thing I did know, was that no matter what I couldn't just STOP.

No matter what I tried, music kept returning to me, verses, words, letters, everything even the people around kept telling me that there's a real chance here, keep going. 

So I made the decision that I won't stop, that this is just the 'beginning' again, and that when following this long road, all you know, and need to know, is that the green light will always tell you to GO

On this day, January 4th, an amazing person was born that, before I could even understand this world, would change my life forever. 
To know that this person has been through fire, ice, and every other obstacle imaginable until the ends of this earth, just to ensure that life wasn't as bad as it could've been for herself as well as her amazing family,   it truly has been, and still is, a blessing everyday.
To be able to stand strong throughout any struggle and having the strength to raise children that embody the same amazing energy that she has (having the honor myself in this experience) this person is one of a kind in a lifetime. Someone that to this day, I could never have asked to be anyone different or replace, because they never could be better, that person is my Mom

On this day, she was born to live a life full of positivity, faith, love and determination to always look forward, and spread hope and I've always believed this to be the best way to describe my mom's radiance, it truly is limitless to words, which I like to reflect that in my potential with music. I've never been perfect at anything in my eyes, yet my mom has always proved to me every day that no matter what happens or what those that talk down on your or count you out say,
that as long as you can believe in your faith and keep moving even when it's hard, bad times will pass and anything can become possible

Today I honor my mother by sharing back the gift that she has given me, my life, which I've given to my music since the day I had the chance to really understand the world.
