Kross:
Growing up on the roads of Country Harbour, my spoon fed introduction to the world of music from my mom and dad consisted of Twisted Sister, Michael Jackson, George Jones and Ray Charles to name a few. This variety has continued to be a part of my musical mind even though many moons have past. For me music became a part of my heart, mind and soul on a mis-delivered purchase for my brother. When the obscure title read “The London Sessions of Howlin’ Wolf”, the expectations could have been endless, but the first time you hear that “howlin” muddy voice teaching Eric Clapton how to play “Red Rooster” you know music is not on paper, it’s in your soul. Playing guitar happened for me at a young age and has never ever left. As a young “teen” age, playing Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkin covers was the best time you could ever have. Little did I know the Floyd, Hendrix, and Zep jams to come. The evolution of my tastes allowed me and my guitar to venture in all kinds of genres, styles and grooves. For me, guitar is not a paint-by-numbers art. The true stylistic tone of a guitar player comes from the colourful feelings and intent of the brush stroke, not just trying to stay within the lines. To this, I as my rock n roll counterpart do, I put my strokes of colour on the blank canvas and it is up to you to value its view. 

Everett Powers:
Black Sheep to Jarvis and Debbie Powers who tried to make love work between them but who can reason with all that screaming. I love you both so much! You both gave and gave and gave when we had NOTHING! Thank you for my first breath and unconditional love. 
My earliest musical encounters were when my Mother would blast old Bon Scott Tunes while she would clean the house. Growing up we always had a house full on the weekends while everybody was doing some pickin and grinnin. We were no strangers to the odd kitchen party!
My Father and I spent a lot of time together taking long drives in the car. At that time he had no idea he was unconsciously molding a musician. As if he knew that cranking old Bob Segar, Tom Petty, CCR, & Fats Domino tunes in the car would inspire me to want to play music. But it wasn’t the music at the time that inspired me. It was the reaction they were getting out of my Father…action-reaction-ACTION-REACTION! I fell in love with the way music made people react. 
I am the youngest brother to Alex and Jason and older brother to Marion. We all choose our battles but we lost every single fight…we don’t talk enough and I miss you all the time. I love you Al. I love you Jay. I love you Mim.
My first breath, My journal, my guitar, my pencil, my pick, my moral lessons, my karma, my tears, my laughter, my bliss ignorance, my sarcastic remarks, my love, my hate, my anger, my demons, my true friends, my righteous enemies, my stories & my last gasp for air…I’M STILL HERE WORLD IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?
