After recording the debut album “Of One” in 2017, The Red River Riot acquired bassist/vocalist Ryan Lyn-Fatt, thus shaping this Canadian duo into a power trio with two extremely capable singers. In celebration of finding that third and final element, the band recorded this cover of the Guns and Roses classic which displays the new cohesive harmonies the band has developed. 

This version of “Used to Love Her” turns the countrified tongue-in-cheek jam of the original into a dreamy rock murder ballad

This song seems fitting considering the times. We decided to take Barry McGuire's protest folk song and make it sound utterly dire.
