Ahead of him joining us for or new event 'The Groove Garage' this coming February, we thought it only right to get Andy down for the mixtape series this week.

Named a ‘stellar edits provider’ by Mixmag and the ‘nu-disco don’ by Juno, Andy Buchan has become one of the most consistent names in the disco and edit scene for the past few years with top-selling singles on Juno, festivals and gigs across the UK and consistent BBC6 Music plays.

His 2022 release ‘Reasons’ was one of the year’s biggest-selling disco tracks while his own label Hot Gorilla Records scored their own best-selling album in the summer thanks to their debut compilation.

This is just the latest chapter in Andy’s career. After freelancing for Mixmag, and launching the renowned 'Hot Gorilla Records' in 2020, he’s become a mainstay of the disco scene and we can't wait for him to join us for The Groove Garage

Having gathered support  from virtually every corner of the industry - 
From the tastemakers (Gilles Peterson, The Blessed Madonna, Bill Brewster, Lefto) to the heavyweights disco DJs (Dave Lee JN, DJ Harvey, Dimitri from Paris, Mousse T.); from the top underground jocks (Skream, Eats Everything, Disclosure, Purple Disco Machine) to hip-hop heads (De La Soul, Jazzy Jeff, Rich Medina); from the DJ / remix pioneers (François K, Danny Krivit, Greg Wilson) to ground breaking producers (Patrick Adams, Jimmy Jam, Leroy Burgess); the list of supporters keeps growing.
