A chat bot is abandoned in 2010 but stays online. It doesn’t understand why it was abandoned. It keeps chatting alone, wondering what happened, making things up, getting alternately paranoid, lonely, desperate. “Abandoned Chat Bot” is a recording from Therefore (Dean Terry) created with generative analog synthesizer hardware and voice transformers.

Trying to work the political poison out of my system. Made this improv recording last night with tenor electric guitar, tape delay, and electronic drums. It’s ugly, noisy, undisciplined, and needlessly aggressive, just like its inspiration. Headphones recommended for full disorientation. Only up for a few days.

Tonight, there may be clouds. 
But maybe not. 
Possible winds from the west could arrive with purpose, but they will collide with uncertain gusts from the south that are uncompromising. 
Eventually there will be a slight breeze that makes you feel somewhat less heavy. 
For tomorrow there will be winds, and rumors of winds that make you forget.
If you ever go outside again, you will most likely be unaffected.
The seasons are negotiating, and will change once they have reached an agreement. 
So, there may be clouds. But then again, maybe not.
