The Regent is a melodic punk rock band from the freezing north that endorses critical thinking and informed arguments. Their new single, "Tall Tales" tries to tackle those who would have it otherwise: Dogmatic moralists with deep pockets who have hijacked the global political discourse. Melodic, political punk rock. 
The music of The Regent is a dissident voice in a world of complacency, spreading the word of a planet in free fall and it’s corrupt leaders.

The band from Trondheim, Norway will release their debut album Political Fiction october 13th. The Regent is influenced by bands like Rise Against, The Offspring and Propagandhi.

Political Fiction was mixed in The Blasting Room studios in Colorado, where most of the band’s major inspirations recorded their albums.

The Regent played at Trondheim Calling in 2017 and have toured Norway and eastern europe extensively.
