The Reinvention

Formerly The Reinvention of Mr Babatola (or TROMB for short), we shortened it even further, for no other reason than it was a pain having to say the whole damned thing.

The Reinvention formed as an actual real living breathing band in the summer of 2010.

The Reinvention have always set out on one single mission; to make good music you can dance to.

Mista B himself comes from Nigeria but lives in Cardiff.

To date The Reinvention have played little and often to crowds in Gwdihw (it means owl) and have been involved in Oxjam, Watusi festival, Artisan Beer events, and most famously an advert for Visit Wales. Occasionally The Reinvention can also be found in the bars of London and festivals near beaches.

Their style is often described as being eclectic with hints of afrobeat, disco, rock, hip hop, and funk and some crazy fools think they're like a British version of The Roots.

The first The Reinvention single was be the track BROTHERS, released as a download only single on 20th March 2012. This can be found via all good online download services such as iTunes and Spotify.
