Who Steals From A Thief Has A Thousand Years Of Forgiveness:

Infinite Monkeys stealing from Ed Griffiths aka Olo and from Mark Hosler (Negativland).

Negativland is an American experimental music band which originated in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1970s. Negativland took their name from a track of the krautrock band: Neu! 

Negativland has released a number of albums ranging from pure sound collage to more musical expositions. Negativland were sued by the band U2's record label, Island Records, and by SST Records, which brought them widespread publicity and notoriety. 

Like Negativland’s work, Infinite Monkeys work is inspired by what we find, we don't set out to go after targets, we really stumbled across stuff and we get excited by it. Infinite Monkeys found a lecture by one of the members of Negativland and after getting extremely excited decided to use it in the following piece named: Who steals from a thief has a thousand years of forgiveness.

Disorganized schizophrenia, also referred to as hebephrenic schizophrenia or hebephrenia (based on the Greek term for adolescence), was a subtype of schizophrenia previously recognized in the fourth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV).

The DSM-IV included five subtypes of schizophrenia, including disorganized, paranoid, catatonic, undifferentiated, and residual. The subtypes were removed from the current version of the DSM (DSM-5, released in 2013), as it was determined that they were not helpful when treating the disorder.

The Blue Infinite Monkeys Theorem states that if you take a bunch of blue monkeys, mix them with blue bananas and any kind of blue bananas (including blue bananas or blue bananas), and then add some cuddling blue bananas, previously exposed to extreme blue banana light, soaked in lots of blue bananas, bathed in more blue bananas, and always fed after blue bananas you will end up with a blue banana version of “Selected Blues for Bananas 84-24”

This Theorem has been tried in real life every first Friday of the month at Netil Radio for almost two years. The 22 monkeys involved produced 14 minutes of blue bananas, slammed 44 kg of blue bananas with a blue banana, and ate all blues and bananas.

Infinite Monkeys will try it again performing live this Friday from 9 to 11 pm on Netil radio. Please, don’t expect any art or great performance on Netil radio, the Monkeys are not musicians, the Monkeys are not artistic agents, the Monkeys are just blue bananas.

The Monkeys performing on Netil radio will be available for adoption, please adopt a Monkey, and bring one to your home after the show. Feel free to feed the Monkeys during the show they will be very grateful to receive a banana or even a blue banana.

This is the music I composed for the scene from Black Mirror: Striking Vipers - which I call 'I love this, I love you'. 

It is a short piece of music, but one that for me has a lot of emotional depth.

This could be developed and extended but for now I am sharing the work as it is heard on film. 

I am sure we will release an official EP at some point with a selection of works from the episode.
